Welcome to VILNIUS, LITHUANIA

Conference venues

Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania and largest city in the country. Lithuania is the most southern and the largest state among the three Baltic Countries. The geographical centre of Europe lies, according to French National Geographical Institute, just 26 km north of Vilnius, making the city close to the most European cities and an ideal new destination in search of new venues for fast developing global conference & meeting industry. Vilnius is within only 2-3 hours flight time from most European cities and the Vilnius International Airport lies within just 7km of the city center.

Vilnius is a city rich of history (first mentioned in 1009), a place where Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Classical styles stand side by side and compliment each other. Vilnius has an enormous architectural diversity with many churches and towers, fortifications, secluded medieval courtyards and narrow and curved streets, and it has managed to retain its unique character as a northerly cultural meeting point at the crossroads of the Roman and Byzantine and the European and Eurasian worlds. Vilnius has been known as hospitable, open and tolerant city throughout the ages.

Since regaining its independence in 1990, Vilnius and the whole Lithuania has developed rapidly. In nowadays Vilnius is a delightful city of contrasts where wealthy historical heritage meets an expanding modernity. Vilnius offers accommodation for every taste and budget. Numerous brand new or recently renovated business class hotels meet high standards. Convention hotels have excellent conference facilities and provide a first-class service. Vilnius is an ideal place for a conference or meeting. There is a wide range of modern and historical meeting and event venues and the city also has a specially built Congress Hall (up to 1000 guests). Located in the centre and surrounded by a number of hotels in vicinity, this is most suitable for concerts, shows, conferences, banquets and any kind of an event or a meeting.
Vilnius also has plenty of welcoming restaurants, cafés and pubs, tailored to satisfy even the most demanding taste and offering different types of international cuisine as well as Lithuania's own unique national dishes.
